. Our group wishes to created a new product, called a Cancer-Catcher, which will quicken the process of detecting cancer. The functionality is simple: the Cancer-Catcher is similar to a diabetic glucose meter in that it uses a small sample of blood. However, instead of sugars, the Cancer Catcher will search for cancer-specific antigens in the blood. The greatest benefit of this new product is that it will return results to the user in a matter of minutes, rather than after days of lab work.
